
All dogs and cats entering Cyprus must be in possession of a European Pet
Passport issued by a Government approved veterinarian which must contain
the following
details:- microchip details, vaccination against rabies at least 21 days
prior to export, Health Certificate indicating the animal is healthy and has
been
treated for fleas and worms within 24 hours of shipment. Par Air can
attend to this if
required. Owners must be resident in Cyprus before the animal arrives so
they are available at Larnaca Airport to collect their pets and attend to the
Veterinary
Inspection. A residential address and telephone number is required before
the airline will confirm the flight reservation for a pet.
Owners have to pay a Veterinary Inspection fee to the Cypriot Government
upon the pet's arrival at Larnaca.
It is only necessary to have your dog and cat
rabies blood tested if you are returning to the U.K. under the PET Passport
System.
Dogs and cats from the European Union to Northern Cyprus require an import
permit and are subject to a 30 day quarantine period in a Government Establishment.
Owners are expected to feed and clean their own pets in the quarantine
station.
A DEFRA Export Health Certificate is required and must be signed by an
LVI Veterinary Surgeon. Par Air can attend to this if required.

will confirm the flight reservation for a pet.
It is necessary to have your dog and cat rabies blood tested prior to entry
into Northern Cyprus.
